STRAWBERRY PARFAIT

STRAWBERRY  PARFAIT:
INGREDIENTS:     ( serves 6 )

2  packets ( large size ) strawberry flavoured gelatin
1  cup boiling water
2  cups  cold water
8-10  cubes   ice-cubese
2  cups  whipping cream, cold
2  cups  strawberry, sliced
1  cup  crushed biscuits

METHOD:
  • You will need 6 glasses.
  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water, ice cubes and stir until gelatin starts to become thick. Discard ice cubes.
  • Divide half of the gelatin among the glasses. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for few minutes until set. Keep the remaining gelatin at room temperature.
  • Sprinkle the crushed biscuits over the gelatin in the glasses. Top with some strawberry slices. Keep aside.
  • Whip the cream until light and fluffy, reserve one cup of the whipped cream for garnish. Add the remaining gelatin to the whipped cream and stir until well blended. Divide over the glasses.
  • Refrigerate until set.
  • Decorate each glass with whipping cream and strawberry.
