BLACK FOREST CHEESECAKE SLICE

BLACK  FOREST  CHEESECAKE  SLICE:
INGREDIENTS:               

185  g plain  chocolate biscuits, crushed
3  tbsp butter, melted
250  g cream cheese, softened
1  can  sweetened condensed milk
1  can  cream
3  tbsp gelatine
2  tbsp  water
425  g can pitted black cherries in syrup
1  tbsp  cornflour

METHOD:
  • Combine biscuits and butter. Press into base of foil lined pan, refrigerate.
  • Beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth, beat in cream.
  • Sprinkle gelatine over water, dissolve over hot water, cool, beat into cream cheese mixture.
  • Drain cherries, reserve syrup. Halve cherries and fold into cream cheese mixture, spoon evenly over crumb crust.
  • Combine in pan cornflour and reserved syrup. Bring to boil stirring, remove from heat,cool.
  • Swirl cherry mixture through cream mixture. Refrigerate until set.
